It depends on what you work as and how you spend your money among many other things
She got a pedagogy degree and worked in many state departments
@Mr. X she saved so she could retire
That's what she managed to get
My grandfather went to england and came back with very very little and worked on a lot of jobs
He worked all over the world
With a lot of hard times
Same for my grandfather but it takes a lot of hard work to get richer
And she didn't retired in a good comfort
@Mr. X well it's hard to say this but we are brazillians
Sure that the Irish get it bad
Specially at the past
But usually here things are harder for the lower class
That can only get better if the economy rises, the best way to rise it is if more and more people work and work hard
Ireland's economy crashed a lot too
That could be avoided
But my grandfather worked a lot internationally
Plus surplus of work causes the economy to crash
Yeah we don't have money for that
I will probably never leave Brazil
I will do my best to change things here
It causes the economy to crash? How so?
The thing is that the economy benefits from unemployment
As there are unemployed and needing people willing to be paid less to get the same job
Having everyone working is going to inevitably cause a depression in capitalism
And there is the thing about overproduction too
Then why is Japan not having a depression?
@Mr. X they had some years ago
It's about cycles
Really?
Yep
2008
Plus the recovery is being done by heavy injections on finance capital
Needless to say this will not solve it
In fact it's a artificial recovery
What about China?
It will result in a even bigger crysis
China produces a lot
Their conditions are horrible
@Mr. X yep, but they aren't rn in a time of depression
