sorry for interputing again, and sorry for late reply, I think I get it about gender roels, but isn't quite liberal (and wrong) position to claim that individual can freely choose its gender? Isn't that gender is cleary socialy given to the individual (like value on market is socially given - when interaction with market or smth) and it is closley related to its biological sex (what can individual do in society to be productive member of its society). We must agree that gender roles serve some kind of purpose or they would not exist.
