@Queef Madagascar#8856 Up until FDR, gold was used as the currency in the US.

Then that got revoked and people got their money quite literally stolen from them.'

2018-02-28 00:49:51 UTC

It has value as a medium of exchange, as well as intrinsic value.

2018-02-28 00:50:54 UTC

I've actually made purchases with gold and silver.

2018-02-28 00:50:58 UTC

@Deleted User Not in that sense, gold was used as money in the US almost exactly as it was today, except you coulden't make more of it, meaning that it had a set value.

2018-02-28 00:51:31 UTC

yes you can exchange thing that doesnt make it money

2018-02-28 00:51:43 UTC

wjem you see a libratd

2018-02-28 00:51:45 UTC

your exchanging the fiat value

2018-02-28 00:51:46 UTC

that doesnt dip

2018-02-28 00:51:51 UTC

Actually, you could make more of it. And it doesn't have a set value, it fluctuates.

2018-02-28 00:52:58 UTC

whats ur point

2018-02-28 00:53:04 UTC

@sosa You are almost unbelievably stupid. You clearly suffer from unaddressed mental illness.

@Deleted User Artifical gold does not carry the same value as it does mined gold, and it cannot be done in the same sense as you can for printing money, you could put decades of research and hundreds of billions into development for methods that do attempt to do such a thing, but it is unlikely that you could do such a thing, it's the reason we aren't mass producing artifical jewels today in order to make a shit ton of money.

2018-02-28 00:54:48 UTC

@Queef Madagascar#8856 @Deleted User This server is currently plagued with trolls, they will eventually leave by themselves once they get bored, or they can't troll anybody anymore.

2018-02-28 00:55:14 UTC

What is "artificial" gold? You mean gold that's been processed after it's been mined? And we definitely do mass produce 'artificial jewels'..
