@Deleted User That's not true, as that labor would've existed nad did exist regardless of if slavery existed
@Anarchist-Communist I do not, it only mongrelizes the races, and increases poverty, crime, and deals an incredible blow to race relations as well, detroit, chicago, and baltimore are all particularly good examples.
@Deleted User Also that's a very general statement and doesn't really respond to my argument
Those neighborhoods are violent because they are poor.
Not because they are black.
@Deleted User Really? How much cotton did the North produce?
focus on the real shit.
@Deleted User The north was not agricultural so I assume little, however this is not relevant to slavery
@Deleted User You ignore the absurd levels of poverty among whites during the 19th and 20th centuries
Interesting...
The economy of the North was based on manufacturing, whereas textiles were produced in the South via slave labor.
@Deleted User Yes, this slowed down automation and reduced compeition which harmed the economy. You're restating memes on loop and not even reading what i'm writing
@Anarchist-Communist Why did these former wonderfully propserous cities become renowned for crime and poverty? And why did the neighborhoods become violent, when other poor area's can have next to no crime? I would know, I live in a red neck town, where money can be tough to come by for many places, even my neighborhood and closeby ones.
Hell, @Deleted User still ignores crime and poverty levels of crime now. Plenty of areas in America are majority black and not violent.
I will pull it up.
@Anarchist-Communist Am I?
Please, give me evidence.
Okay.
A majority black neighborhood with a low crime rate.
How did this "slow down" automation and harm the US economy? At the start of the Civil War, production actually increased in the North.
@Deleted User I come from a Rustbelt town with some blacks and even Muslims and the white people in the town are honestly a bigger danger to white people there
And cotton prices were at an all time high.
@Deleted User I'm just confused at this point
@Deleted User What are you even talking about
You're failing to defend your position. What I've said is common knowledge.
@Deleted User I said that slavery slowed automation and competition
How?
is that what you're asking
Yeah, how so?
@Anarchist-Communist This is just telling me crime rates in a small area..... what does this prove?
you're not being clear on what you're arguments even are
This iss an odd claim
shit like the cotton gin was a thing
which deliberately ramped up slavery in the us
I really like anecdotal evidence
Tha'ts not even relevant period
@Deleted User you're running away from the point again.
if anything automation created a greater demand for slavery
My town, like many Rustbelt/"Redneck" towns, have a problem with meth selling and producing
