Slavery is immoral

2018-02-28 02:17:12 UTC

HUh?

2018-02-28 02:17:14 UTC
2018-02-28 02:17:22 UTC

how

2018-02-28 02:17:29 UTC
2018-02-28 02:17:32 UTC

@Deleted User yes you are.

2018-02-28 02:17:37 UTC

My argument is that the economy of the North, which was based on manufacturing and thus automation, was dependent on the agricultural economy of the South which produced in demand textiles via slave labor.

2018-02-28 02:17:45 UTC

@Anarchist-Communist Tell me how then.

2018-02-28 02:18:00 UTC

@Deleted User Why should I? You're sea-lioning again, fuck you. I already proved you wrong.

2018-02-28 02:18:07 UTC

@Deleted User If I am correct, didn't automation BOOST slavery?

2018-02-28 02:18:17 UTC

yes it did

2018-02-28 02:18:23 UTC

I said that

2018-02-28 02:18:29 UTC

the cotton gin is a fucking thing

2018-02-28 02:18:43 UTC

That's such a shit argument bro

2018-02-28 02:18:49 UTC

no it isn't

2018-02-28 02:18:56 UTC

its directly linked to an increase in slaves

2018-02-28 02:18:58 UTC

When you have the means of automation artificially raised

2018-02-28 02:19:04 UTC

read the article

2018-02-28 02:19:05 UTC

you have far less incentive to innovate

2018-02-28 02:19:11 UTC

@Anarchist-Communist So you are giving up all logic, and are just saying "FUCK YOU I WIN!" Like a child? Geez man, when you act like that, I can only assume you have autism.

2018-02-28 02:19:16 UTC

this is basic historical materialism

2018-02-28 02:19:18 UTC

Production in the North increased on the eve of the Civil war and cotton prices rose drastically. Where is the slow down you speak of? And decreased competition? Where?

2018-02-28 02:19:51 UTC

@Deleted User So you're confusion lies in misunderstanding

2018-02-28 02:19:57 UTC

The slowdown is not even seeable

2018-02-28 02:19:59 UTC

"Because of its inadvertent effect on American slavery, and on its ensuring that the South's economy developed in the direction of plantation-based agriculture (while encouraging the growth of the textile industry elsewhere, such as in the North), the invention of the cotton gin is frequently cited as one of the indirect causes of the American Civil War."

2018-02-28 02:20:06 UTC

pulled right from the fucking article

2018-02-28 02:20:08 UTC

In fact if it was seeable

2018-02-28 02:20:10 UTC

iot would'nt exist

2018-02-28 02:20:13 UTC

with 3 citations included

2018-02-28 02:20:16 UTC

because their woudln't be slavery

@Deleted User Sea lioning (also spelled sealioning and sea-lioning) is a type of Internet trolling which consists of bad-faith requests for evidence, or repeated questions, the purpose of which is not clarification or elucidation, but rather an attempt to derail a discussion or to wear down the patience of one's opponent. The troll who uses this tactic also uses fake civility and feigns offense so as to discredit their target.[1][2][3][4] The term arises from a 2014 edition of the webcomic Wondermark, where a character expresses an unsubstantiated dislike of sea lions and a passing sea lion repeatedly asks the character to explain.[5][6][7][8]

2018-02-28 02:20:24 UTC

You're a troll.

2018-02-28 02:20:32 UTC

You're asking all of these questions to me in bad faith.

2018-02-28 02:20:41 UTC

@Anarchist-Communist Do you actually have autism?

2018-02-28 02:20:43 UTC

It wasn't "seeable"? What does that mean? And if it isn't quantifiable, why even mention it?

2018-02-28 02:21:02 UTC

@Deleted User I mean i'd bascially have to explain economics and marxism from the ground up to you

2018-02-28 02:21:04 UTC

@Deleted User you're not asking me for clarification, you want to keep me explaining over and over while ignoring all my points. You're a troll. I proved you wrong.

2018-02-28 02:21:06 UTC

for you to get this at this point
