I don't know why you would want to defend Christianity when you aren't even a Christian. What is the point in being an apologist for convictions that you claim to no longer hold? And just because someone is a communist doesn't mean they aren't or weren't Christians at one point. I myself am a former Christian who received a religious education for years. My high school was essentially a minor seminary.
