hmm, interesting, well...

there are many people who seem to oppose nationalism, but back in the ww2 era, everyone were way more nationalistic than today, and even the allies in the west, the communists in the east, and especially the axis in the central europe, so generally speaking, it couldn't be a simulant for war, but then again axis DID mention awfully alot about how their identity is at risk.

basically they were saying their people and identity was at risk by ruthless communists in the east who by the end of ww2 and after ww2 have masacred alot of people in europe, and in the west, allies werent any better, they did allied bombing on germany in 1944, which caused alot of equipment and railroads to be destroyed, which caused the concentration camps to run out of supplies, and thus cause the typhus to spread
