tfw there were hundreds of great thinkers every century until christianity took over europe, literally none afterward until nearly a thousand years later

2020-01-15 01:21:54 UTC

I don't even have patience for fedora tippers anymore. It's such a low IQ position based in pure hatred for no reason

2020-01-15 01:22:19 UTC

The normans, anglo, saxon etc seem kinda dense compared to the greek lol, thats why I assume nothing happened

2020-01-15 01:22:42 UTC

**Jax the Clackker#1467** was cleansed from the server.

2020-01-15 01:23:14 UTC

Tfw a polytheist philosopher is considered better than a monotheist for no reason whatsoever

2020-01-15 01:23:41 UTC

It's just leftover globohomo brainwashing

2020-01-15 01:24:04 UTC

The Jews hate Christians, and you fell for their bait

2020-01-15 01:24:23 UTC

it's undeniable that christian europe nearly got conquered by barbarians to the north and south, whereas pagan europe not only defended themselves but also CONQUERED the shitskins

2020-01-15 01:24:29 UTC

so it's not for no reason at all

2020-01-15 01:24:33 UTC

hey, greyfag did you know that fitzy pulls shit out of his ass constantly?

2020-01-15 01:24:49 UTC

@Tero Are you implying no defense was made?

2020-01-15 01:24:57 UTC

i'm saying it was shit

2020-01-15 01:25:03 UTC

you had muslims in tours

2020-01-15 01:25:24 UTC

Yeah, brown shit skins suddenly got organized, whereas they weren't before

2020-01-15 01:25:49 UTC

polotheistic religions just seem to me like they are a set of architypes to learn from, which IMO is a better system than ' just do what nice guy jesus does' which can be mis interpreted in so many ways, but polotheistic didnt survive, so idk what they were really like and what they would look like with modern ideas. and besides I dont hate christianity, although Im an atheist, Id prefer to live with christians than athesits... because they arent degenerates...

2020-01-15 01:25:50 UTC

Europe would probably have never survived had the tribes still been unorganized before Christianity

2020-01-15 01:26:11 UTC

>never survived
>couple hundred greeks fought back the persians

2020-01-15 01:26:16 UTC

<:thronk:441701565607444482>

2020-01-15 01:26:49 UTC

Man, you are retarded. Your brain is too full of 4chan memes instead of actual knowledge

2020-01-15 01:26:55 UTC

kek

2020-01-15 01:27:04 UTC

when I said never survived, i didnt mean they couldnt fight, I mean they dont exist anymore

2020-01-15 01:27:10 UTC

@Fitzydog are you talking to me??

2020-01-15 01:27:13 UTC

No

2020-01-15 01:27:23 UTC

@aWildTomAppeared he's talking to sky daddy

2020-01-15 01:27:25 UTC

tfw idolizing christianity ironically

2020-01-15 01:27:32 UTC

do you even go to church

2020-01-15 01:27:53 UTC

It's unironically better than polytheist paganism in every sense

2020-01-15 01:27:59 UTC

tfw idolizing authority unironically

2020-01-15 01:28:04 UTC

Literally every metric

2020-01-15 01:28:33 UTC

@galesteppes Yes. <:chad:431600553806790667>

2020-01-15 01:28:40 UTC

many peoples voluntarily conveted to christiantiy, so I can believe it was better, but life would be so much more interesting if both existed still

2020-01-15 01:28:54 UTC

You've got Hindus

2020-01-15 01:29:33 UTC

Now that's an interesting thing to read up on: The intermixing between Hellenism and Hinduism

2020-01-15 01:29:47 UTC

but did they merge their religons the other european religions like how the greek germanic norse etc were all similar?

2020-01-15 01:29:58 UTC

nvm u just answered that

2020-01-15 01:31:24 UTC

side note, looking through old photos yesterday, and turns out that I saw an gilgamesh statue before I knew who he was

2020-01-15 01:43:30 UTC

personally i find fedora tippers as annoying as you do fitzy but to go to the other extreme and imagine that early christian europe was some kind of boon, even that without christianity we weren't a great civilization, and couldn't be such, is retarded in equal measure

2020-01-15 01:53:54 UTC

I mean from what ive heard romans brought a lot of inovations across europe to much less civilized cultures but the greek already had gucci toilets and everything

2020-01-15 01:55:19 UTC

Paganism stemming all the way back to the bronze age was very "open minded". Basically, "well the people in the next city over worship a different god, lets worship that one alongside ours just to cover our bases", and that is the very oversimplified reason why so many pagan gods are very similar and spread so far.

2020-01-15 01:55:40 UTC

Even Judaism was originally polytheistic.
