Which one are you looking at?

2020-01-19 07:12:50 UTC

The pusher would probably be your best bet

2020-01-19 07:13:40 UTC

I carry a full size ifak on my belt, the hybrid I can fit a TQ and gauze in one of the pouches

2020-01-19 07:14:48 UTC

It does have three rows of webbing on the sides but I don’t like pouches there

2020-01-19 07:15:34 UTC

@OzarkParti$an but any velocity systems gear you choose will be rock solid

2020-01-19 15:34:09 UTC

Does anyone who lives in a commie state know if you can circumvent a high-cap mag ban by buying a Beowulf mag that happens to feed 5.56? And would it be illegal to just own the mag (if you happen to own a 5.56 AR and not a 50 cal)? To stuff it with 5.56? Or is it all fair game as long as it’s stamped as a 50 cal mag?

2020-01-19 15:54:54 UTC

@Karl I live in Colorado and most retailers sell standard 30 round mags taken apart and labeled as rebuild kits so it's not technically a new mag it's for fixing grandfathered ones

2020-01-19 15:58:14 UTC

Good to know, thanks

2020-01-19 16:19:23 UTC

So I decided I'm going to purchase a couple LV3+ plates, now I need to find a carrier, I'm looking for something under $100-$150, would anyone happen to know any good ones around that price range?

2020-01-19 16:19:52 UTC

AWS OCPC

2020-01-19 16:22:10 UTC

True, a condor would be better than 70$ worth of paracord boy scout tied into a harness that would hold the plates up

2020-01-19 16:34:17 UTC

Condor really lmao

2020-01-19 16:35:24 UTC

Maybe it’s a job difference but every single price of condor item I have owned failed on me

2020-01-19 16:35:34 UTC

Piece*

2020-01-19 16:36:23 UTC

Maybe

2020-01-19 16:37:39 UTC

I never liked them until the gen 3’s

2020-01-19 16:37:50 UTC

They fixed a lot of their previous issues

2020-01-19 16:44:46 UTC

They’ve changed things up in their newest. I didn’t originally think about them for an option until I seen it. I was just going to stick to my JPC. But after using it, it’s not bad anymore. I had originally tried I think the first one they made and it was just not quite right

2020-01-19 16:47:23 UTC

100% is just hot garbage. I know a few guys who got the 2.0 it never attracted me till the 3.0. The zippered admin pouch is nice for putting mission essential items, pens, extra gloves, and other shit in. The quick detach is super simple to don and doff the carrier now

2020-01-19 16:48:58 UTC

That’s why I didn’t pay full retail. They had a sale the day it came out. Picked it up for $250 with the military discount added all I had to do was emailing them asking if it could stack

2020-01-19 16:50:19 UTC

👍

2020-01-19 17:16:28 UTC

@Itcilis agreed condor is shit. That’s why I went to spiritus systems, ferro concepts, I’ve had a mayflower apc which was the tits.

2020-01-19 18:44:46 UTC

Thanks for the heads up on Condor, going to do a little price checking, might step up to $200 if needed but I'm just trying to be ready for anything and get some real gear to work out in without breaking the bank, trying to save for a duplex so I can get some passive income

2020-01-19 18:45:05 UTC

Look at the aws

2020-01-19 18:46:47 UTC

You get really good quality for a little more than the condor

2020-01-19 18:47:14 UTC

They do military contracts usually so they don't waste money on advertising which is why nobody has heard of them

2020-01-19 18:47:49 UTC

Just did, it seems like it may be a little bulky but also seems like it would hold up a bit more to the basic wear and tear of working out In it than some of the other ones

2020-01-19 18:49:38 UTC

If your willing to spend around $200 the crye JPC is a good carrier

2020-01-19 18:50:29 UTC

I kinda figured that, I'm not too worried about the quality as long as it will withstand the bouncing from me running and other stuff, as well as provide a little cushion until I get used to the feel, I've never worn one before

2020-01-19 18:50:37 UTC

Most sites you can get them new for around $210

2020-01-19 18:50:42 UTC

You can get them used cheaper

2020-01-19 18:51:06 UTC

Check tacswap too. Sometimes there’s good deals

2020-01-19 18:51:26 UTC

Yeah people forget the price of it because it’s not normal of crye to have something that price

2020-01-19 18:53:29 UTC

Loving my jpc

2020-01-19 18:53:40 UTC

As do I

2020-01-19 18:55:31 UTC

... You don't like light weight gear?

2020-01-19 18:55:33 UTC

Not that I know off. The JPC was designed to be a minimal lightweight vest

2020-01-19 18:56:01 UTC

Of
