to get my truck i had to put up 50% on it

i really had to finance a truck because i have 0 credit history besides that

i get my bank SENDING ME ads for credit cards to denie them when i say yes

I started building my credit when I was about 16. I was smart about it

i try to because even tho i hate getting in debt i want to own a house and land eventually

I understand that well

i have enough in the bank rn to pay off my truck and it kills me not to but i gotta build that credit

I currently have 2 paid off vehicles as of 3 months ago. It’s nice. In your situation It’s better not to pay it off honestly

yea thats how i see it better to have some type of credit built instead of just a truck

its just like i try to but cant finance tools

Sadly credit is needed for almost everything

being a large dealer we have the snap on and mac trucks come by to sell us tools

but i always end up paying them in full

My wife is a banker so she handles most of the finances these days

So I got lucky there a bit. I’m decent with finances but she’s much better

I hope she would be

You’d be surprised at the amount of bankers who are bad with their own finances

i also realized even if i wanted to go to collage at this point i havent even taken the SAT/ACT because i had work at the time because i specificly schedualed my classes to all be in the afternoon so i could work in the morning and i had work on the day for SATs and considering i am now in a full time position with pretty good pay i think i made the right desision

Take an aircraft to one of our outlying fields, land, sit there for 8ish hours, takeoff and come back and then do office work. Haha
