So basically, there are a couple concepts that maoism adds on. Remember maoism is just adding theory to Marxist-Leninism and most maoists call themselves ML since they are they just use current material conditions. Maoist concepts are: New Democracy, Third Worldism, On Contradiction, Mass Line, Peoples War, Cultural revolution, Dual Power etc. New democracy: is characterized as a concept based on Mao Zedong's "Bloc of Four Social Classes" theory in post-revolutionary China which argued originally that democracy in China would take a decisively distinct path, much different from that of the liberal capitalist and parliamentary democratic systems in the Western world as well as Soviet-style socialism in Eastern Europe. As time passed, the New Democracy concept was adapted to other countries and regions with similar justifications. Mass Line: The essential element of the mass line is consulting the masses, interpreting their suggestions within the framework of Marxist-Leninism, and then enforcing the resulting policies.Mao developed it into a coherent organizing methodology that encompasses philosophy, strategy, tactics, leadership and organizational theory that has been applied by many Communists subsequent to the Chinese revolution. Chinese communist leaders generally attribute their conquest of power to the faithful pursuit of effective "mass line" tactics, and a "correct" mass line is supposed to be the essential prerequisite for the full consolidation of power.
Third Worldism: which is a broad tendency which is mainly concerned with the infusion and synthesis of Marxism—particularly of the Marxist–Leninist–Maoist persuasion—with concepts of non-Marxist Third Worldism, namely dependency theory and world-systems theory. There is no general consensus on part of Maoist-Third Worldists as a whole. However, the majority of proponents typically argue for the centrality of anti-imperialism to the victory of global communist revolution, as well as against the idea that the working class in the "First World" is majority-exploited (sometimes arguing that it experiences no exploitation at all), and therefore, it is not a part of the international proletariat. People's war: also called protracted people's war, is a military-political strategy first developed by the Chinese Communist revolutionary and political leader Mao Zhedong. The basic concept behind People's War is to maintain the support of the population and draw the enemy deep into the countryside (stretching their supply lines) where the population will will bleed them dry through a mix of mobile and guerrilla warfare.
