Teaching would be ad hoc

2018-06-30 00:49:07 UTC

So instead if earning money to buy a house someone else already built and making it my own, instead I am forced to build the house myself

2018-06-30 00:50:04 UTC

Or live in communal housing or work with a group of people and form your own residential syndicate and build a place or find a commune with room

2018-06-30 00:50:14 UTC

There are ways to not build the house yourself

2018-06-30 00:50:25 UTC

It simply requires utilizing the community

2018-06-30 00:50:46 UTC

Yes but for the most part if I want my own property I have to create it all myself

2018-06-30 00:52:56 UTC

Not really, getting to specific on the anarchist day-to-day can be tricky as I only can speak for my own perspective and not anarchists as a whole, but I enjoy the idea that a syndicate can be formed to build homes for the commune and the members of that syndicate volunteer, are rewarded with benefits by the commune (as decided by the commune via democratic vote), and are skilled and proficient.

2018-06-30 00:53:21 UTC

Like I said though these specifics will always be debatable until full realization

2018-06-30 00:53:29 UTC

Well of course

2018-06-30 00:54:02 UTC

Creating an anarchist society would require everybody to act in a way that benefits the entire commune

2018-06-30 00:54:31 UTC

However what if the act that the person is doing benefits the commune, but not himself

2018-06-30 00:54:31 UTC

There is much reason to believe they would act for the commune

2018-06-30 00:54:44 UTC

Would he continue to do it

2018-06-30 00:54:56 UTC

Betterment of the commune and community can help him

2018-06-30 00:55:39 UTC

If everything else is supplied by the commune, surely a man may act solely for the commune

2018-06-30 00:55:50 UTC

As acting for the commune is acting for himself

2018-06-30 00:56:07 UTC

Once the commune stops supplying him in totality, then the man can act more for himself

2018-06-30 00:56:45 UTC

What do you mean by that last part

2018-06-30 00:59:47 UTC

Same

2018-06-30 01:06:39 UTC

So imagine Bill is working as part of a one-man syndicate created by a democratic vote of the entire community of Anarchyville commune. Bill volunteered and works alone and is solely tasked with monitoring cyber security of the Anarchyville website. He does not generate anything for himself such as food, entertainment, art, materials, etc. He commits his labor solely for the commune and is thus fully rewarded by the commune. Bill has an overstocked fridge. If a vote is past that removes Bill form his post or for some other reason Bill no longer perform, he can do some other work. Producing food, entertainment, art, materials, etc. These things he can keep for himself and own some of his own production. He may lose out on an overstocked frdige, but still have a good one and will have units of his own production at his disposal for trade (i.e. Bill writes songs and is gifted food or other things; Bill produces clothing and can keep the clothes he makes as surplus). Basically, every worker is entitled to the fruits of their labor unless they are working for something for the commune as a whole. When they work for the commune as a whole they are reimbursed with extra things such as food.

2018-06-30 01:07:02 UTC

As always, the exactness of this illustration is debatable upon submission of better alternative

2018-06-30 01:07:40 UTC

Ok so that makes sense

2018-06-30 01:07:49 UTC

But picture this scenario

2018-06-30 01:08:05 UTC

Bill is put on a team of people to work on the website

2018-06-30 01:08:33 UTC

Bill does approximately 60% of the total work on the website, while the other 4 people share 10% of the work each

2018-06-30 01:08:48 UTC

Even though they are tasked with the same job, Bill works extra hard at what he does

2018-06-30 01:08:55 UTC

Is he entitled to more reward?

2018-06-30 01:11:44 UTC

I would state this is a problem of communication

2018-06-30 01:12:07 UTC

If all parties are communicating and explaining how things should be done democratically Bill won't work extra hard

2018-06-30 01:12:27 UTC

All parties will find a fair percentage of work and any addendums to the pay can be sorted out within the Syndicate

2018-06-30 01:13:31 UTC

For instance, Bill, Tom, Dan, Kyle, and Freddy all work together and have made a schedule that reflects the work they can do and will do

2018-06-30 01:14:07 UTC

If for instance, Tom becomes sick and needs time off but doesn't want to lose food he can talk to his syndicate mates and have everything worked out by communication

2018-06-30 01:14:15 UTC

Communication is key

2018-06-30 01:14:47 UTC

Ok let’s change the scenario a little bit for perspective

2018-06-30 01:14:52 UTC

kk bb

2018-06-30 01:14:58 UTC

There are 4 people working the site

2018-06-30 01:15:23 UTC

Bill and Tom find that the other 2 dudes can’t do a better job than they can

2018-06-30 01:15:48 UTC

So they offer to split the work so that Bill and Tom do 75% of the work and the other 2 do 25%

2018-06-30 01:16:32 UTC

If Bill and Tom were to demand a raise in rewards, would they be entitled to get them

2018-06-30 01:19:57 UTC

there is a person named despacito#6969 0n discord and everyone needs to send them a friend request

2018-06-30 01:20:14 UTC

Why would they demand more rewards when they can simply ask the rest of the syndicate? If Bill and Tom ask Dan and Kyle for more of their food, it would be up to Dan and Kyle. If no resolution can be reached, they can bring their dispute to a communal court and ask for advice from the commune. Advice does not need to be followed, but ignoring the commune's advice may weigh against a person should they ever be up against an expulsion vote. Ultimately, the situation is handled democratically a bit more problematic when there are four people but still.
