But you don't need to be a slave physically.

Depends on the job. But economically you do. Of course there's mostly restrictions for the physical labour among other types too.

And economics means everything in everyday life.

But at the end of the day the best way to not be a slave is to buy your freedoms buy exceeding your slave work or die.

Or be lucky like me and be born in a rich family. But I'm obviously still going to work a job I'd like, not for my own survival but to be a more productive member of society.

Workers who have to work to survive are slaves. But workers who arent dependent on their jobs (which means the general upper class who work) arent. Yet you can buy your freedom through usually difficult and hard labour or just very very good luck.
