With many of our demos, there's a chance of physical confrontation and being detained, neither of those scenarios are made better with a gun, unless you're planning to shoot someone, which you shouldn't.

We don't counter demonstrate riots, and if there is a physical confrontation during a demo, or a confrontation in general, it's likely because we planned to confront folks like at the bookfair. Bringing a gun to a fist fight is not the best of ideas. Your best defense is the guys next to you, and group cohesion as a whole.
