Venezuela was variant of anti-imperialist struggle, they used socialist phraseology but this wasn't never a scientific criteria of socialism because socialism is about socialization of means of production, dictatorship of the proletariat in different forms (Soviet power or people's democracy). They cancelled to provide any communist measures and tryed to keep capitalism that's why they failed in fact instead devolepment of revolutionary process they remained on point of bourgeois economy and nationalization didn't became a point to socialization means of production.
