Kosovo je Srbija?
Hashtag FreeKosovo
No
Shqiptare
No?
That's about the only Albanian I know
I think Kosovo should be fully freed.
@TheTeacher It will never be
Kosovo je Srbija, Srbija je jugoslavija
True, Yugoslavia was pretty awesome.
I'd be happy to give Kosovo to Albania if Albania joined the union
Net
Jugoslavia je Tito
Only in our dreams
Unfortunately ustase and Serbian nationalists don't want that
Tito was cool, I wish he and Stalin were able to work things out.
I think
we should arm sex workers.
It's a shame Yugoslavia broke up after he died
Yeah, it is.
@TheTeacher they can literally "pop a cap in yo ass"
My main issues with Yugoslavia is the same issue I take with the USSR.
I feel they weren't as decentralized as they should have been.
They both accomplished great things, but the main goal of Socialism is decentralization. I feel both were too central.
Even so, after both fell things have gotten worse.
Marx definitely wanted centralisation
To say socialism is decentralised is untheoretical
Well, like I said I am not a Marxist. I'm more post-Marxist than anything.
I can say Marx had some great ideas, but there's things in there I don't agree with.
Even so, since the fall of the USSR and Yugoslavia, both places have been not doing so well.
"Nevertheless, in most advanced countries, the following will be pretty generally applicable.
1. Abolition of property in land and application of all rents of land to public purposes.
2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.
3. Abolition of all rights of inheritance.
4. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels.
5. Centralisation of credit in the hands of the state, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly.
6. Centralisation of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the State.
7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State; the bringing into cultivation of waste-lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.
8. Equal liability of all to work. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture."
Marx
All the former Soviet States now have lower standards of living and higher mortality rates.
Plus, a lot of places now lost what they once had. After you told me that Belarus now doesn't have free college, I looked into all the former states and they all lost a lot of things.
Yeah.
