Why do we need the state why can we not do things at a voluntary level

because of population size. it works in a tribe where everyone can be heard, but with tens/hundreds of millions within a country, it is easier to have representitives for each region speak for a section of the population

With the internet it is becoming easier and the world will slowly de populate

then that bridge will be cross when we get to it. projections still show population increase this century, mostly within developing regions

Also with the internet becoming more wide spread access is becoming easier

and did you know people were once easily able to get access to healthcare paying out of pocket before the government intervined in healthcare

Plus I dont like globalism. I like the idea of a nation so my fellow people and culture within it have a centralized system of organization and defense.

Just look at the USA. In theory and within the constitution it should be one of the most free nations to ever exist. But corporations and lobbying allow the top earners to call the shots on political discourse and censor speech, argueably more than any "communist" country.
