Is getting a red dot sight a good deal?

Or staying with a non-digital or even iron sights more worth it?

I assume it depends on the brand

However, for survival purposes, id rely more heavily on analog(?) sights

I always get etched just incase battery dies or emp takes out my sight

Optics question answer; every optic has its place, i second squid on getting something etched. I have a primary arms 2.5 mag. Fixed mag, acss reticle good eye relief. Ive used holosun since they came out and they are a quality brand woth excellent customer service. Ive used all the big ones and this has been one of my favorite setups
