2019-12-31 00:21:49 UTC

I meet guys at my gun store that I work at who wanted to do this type of training. So we just do it

2019-12-31 00:21:51 UTC

Dope, its what we need

2019-12-31 00:22:04 UTC

See

2019-12-31 00:22:15 UTC

That's what I mean about organizing locally

2019-12-31 00:22:21 UTC

More people putting boots to dirt and rounds on target

2019-12-31 00:22:25 UTC

We grow every year.

2019-12-31 00:23:15 UTC

We are just a bunch of goons who like to larp, plain and simple, it’s fun, it’s different and it gets people away from their usual 9-5

2019-12-31 00:23:30 UTC

So I started a tactical training group

2019-12-31 00:23:43 UTC

I mean, I play paintball for the same reason

2019-12-31 00:23:59 UTC

Lots of live fire exercises, we train constantly.

2019-12-31 00:24:10 UTC

Many of us are ex military. I’m military as well

2019-12-31 00:24:17 UTC

It's big gey but you still learn to shoot n scoot

2019-12-31 00:24:42 UTC

Agreed. We just do live fire. Bounding drills and such

2019-12-31 00:24:58 UTC

That's important

2019-12-31 00:25:05 UTC

Movement, breaking contact, radio frequencies

2019-12-31 00:25:21 UTC

All of those are perishable skills

2019-12-31 00:25:50 UTC

Yeah, we were trained by Uncle Sam, but we stay up to date

2019-12-31 00:26:01 UTC

Rogals comment lasted long

2019-12-31 00:28:15 UTC

I recommend getting a boafeng UVR in general

2019-12-31 00:28:18 UTC

Ive been working on a mobile TOC platform

2019-12-31 00:28:31 UTC

Backpack recievers n all that

2019-12-31 00:29:34 UTC

Yeah, I throw coms and wires in my assault pack or on my chest rig depending on where it works best. Usually when I’m setting up targets for alpine warfare training, we need targets at all distances

2019-12-31 00:30:06 UTC

So the radios work well then

2019-12-31 00:30:22 UTC

Just to confirm hits and distances

2019-12-31 00:30:58 UTC

Hilariously enough, someone thought we were SWAT officers today when we peeled out of the tree line and onto the range

2019-12-31 00:31:16 UTC

Lmao, swat

2019-12-31 00:31:21 UTC

We just said, nah, we’re not cops and laughed it off

2019-12-31 00:31:29 UTC

I bet y'all are better trained than them tbh

2019-12-31 00:31:47 UTC

I've out shot cops vefore and I dont have any formal training

2019-12-31 00:32:14 UTC

We all have formal military training so I’m sure we are better off than most cops in most combat fields

2019-12-31 00:44:13 UTC

@thedarkness05 >being better trained than police

If you go to the range more than a few times a year and train on something more than basic pistol marksmanship, you're better trained.

Sprinkle some medical in there

2019-12-31 00:47:44 UTC

We do tactical combat casualty care, IFAK/TQ training, urban combat, mountain warfare, and bounding to cover mainly

2019-12-31 00:48:04 UTC

We also do off roading to get to the range haha

2019-12-31 00:49:01 UTC

We have monthly trainings and annual FTXs now

2019-12-31 00:49:31 UTC

I used to do lots of that with a larger group. They dissipated after trump was elected. Like he would solve everything...

2019-12-31 00:49:45 UTC

Lol, keep the training

2019-12-31 00:50:50 UTC

Yup. FTXs. We had stations. A classroom, usually a skeleton house to train clearing, a medical station. Wed switch the skeleton style shoot house out for actual live fire too. Dependant on who wanted to teach

2019-12-31 00:51:12 UTC

Hell yeah, that sounds excellent

2019-12-31 00:51:33 UTC

It was. Perfect. But complacency kills.
