Good shit. Glad others are actually out there doing what needs to be done
Our numbers grow, guys are getting out of the military and LARPing hard in the hills
Edit I did of a buddy of mine btw
I meet guys at my gun store that I work at who wanted to do this type of training. So we just do it
Dope, its what we need
See
That's what I mean about organizing locally
More people putting boots to dirt and rounds on target
We grow every year.
We are just a bunch of goons who like to larp, plain and simple, it’s fun, it’s different and it gets people away from their usual 9-5
So I started a tactical training group
I mean, I play paintball for the same reason
Lots of live fire exercises, we train constantly.
Many of us are ex military. I’m military as well
It's big gey but you still learn to shoot n scoot
Agreed. We just do live fire. Bounding drills and such
That's important
Movement, breaking contact, radio frequencies
All of those are perishable skills
Yeah, we were trained by Uncle Sam, but we stay up to date
I recommend getting a boafeng UVR in general
Ive been working on a mobile TOC platform
Backpack recievers n all that
Yeah, I throw coms and wires in my assault pack or on my chest rig depending on where it works best. Usually when I’m setting up targets for alpine warfare training, we need targets at all distances
So the radios work well then
Just to confirm hits and distances
Hilariously enough, someone thought we were SWAT officers today when we peeled out of the tree line and onto the range
Lmao, swat
We just said, nah, we’re not cops and laughed it off
I bet y'all are better trained than them tbh
I've out shot cops vefore and I dont have any formal training
We all have formal military training so I’m sure we are better off than most cops in most combat fields
@thedarkness05 >being better trained than police
If you go to the range more than a few times a year and train on something more than basic pistol marksmanship, you're better trained.
Sprinkle some medical in there
We do tactical combat casualty care, IFAK/TQ training, urban combat, mountain warfare, and bounding to cover mainly
We also do off roading to get to the range haha
We have monthly trainings and annual FTXs now
I used to do lots of that with a larger group. They dissipated after trump was elected. Like he would solve everything...
Lol, keep the training
Yup. FTXs. We had stations. A classroom, usually a skeleton house to train clearing, a medical station. Wed switch the skeleton style shoot house out for actual live fire too. Dependant on who wanted to teach
Hell yeah, that sounds excellent
