If you don't wanna do a long campaign, or are worried about burnout, go for Against the Aeon throne. 3 books vs 6. I think the pacing is better

I mainly do Homebrew

I'm gonna try and write my own campaign first

Easier for me to get into character

I like to mix things, but homebrew is just as good if not better at times
