Ironically most people would actually prefer an authoritarian styled government

Why make a decision when you can just clock in and out of work and go about your day

While it is a great and heavy burden, at the end of the day the weight of a soldier's pack is far lighter than a slave's chains. At least for me it is. The problem is, most people don't see or dont want to acknowledge theirs

That's why democracy or republicanism doesn't work in certain places

It’s ok to have spiritual beliefs but when it becomes religion is when it’s wrong

America is meant to have the freedom to believe what you want but it was never meant to be a theocracy

That’s when government can use the excuse of God to do certain things they want

Religion was used by humans to explain natural phenomenon since the dawn of civilization. Zoroastrianism is the oldest religion to have existed and was the first monotheistic religion in the world.

The funny thing is when the Pilgrims originally instituted separation of Church and State, it was to keep their faith from being corrupted by politics. Weird how things change

Governments just used what the Catholic Church did at the fall of Western Empire. They sold tickets to heaven and forgave sins due to how much you paid the church sounds like the government today with all them taxes

And it did keep the masses content with their lowly station, so they wouldn't rise up

Peasent War, Protestant vs Catholic, Holy Wars all and all the normal for the human race
