Fuck the mormons

2019-12-02 19:37:55 UTC

Theyre a cult

2019-12-02 19:38:09 UTC

Though birthrates I get behind

2019-12-02 19:38:30 UTC

I was just talking about polygamy from a strictly utilitarian standpoint. They are a cult tho

2019-12-02 19:38:39 UTC

No I agree

2019-12-02 19:38:46 UTC

To be realistic, I think the necessary birth rate to create a replacement generation is only like 2.5 kids per household. We're at 1.6 or something currently. By that logic, all it would take is having an average of two or three kids per family

2019-12-02 19:38:54 UTC

I just don't talk all educated like a fag

2019-12-02 19:39:35 UTC

Well I have to do *something* with my degree. Otherwise I wasted a lotof time and money. No way I did that, r-right guys?

2019-12-02 19:40:20 UTC

Higher education isn't a waste as long as you use it right

2019-12-02 19:42:43 UTC

This is interesting. Seems to show that native Hawaiians/ Pacific Islanders are leading

2019-12-02 19:42:56 UTC

Whites are lower, but not that much lower

2019-12-02 19:43:07 UTC

And apparently Asians were the lowest for 2018

2019-12-02 19:44:09 UTC

Yeah, but the problem is also wild and uncontrolled immigration. Its a bad mix of things that lead to the great replacement theory

2019-12-02 19:44:17 UTC

2019-12-02 19:44:52 UTC

Europe is best example, they let a fuck ton of refugees in and it's fucked everything up for em

2019-12-02 19:45:07 UTC

Not to mention labor migration

2019-12-02 19:51:40 UTC

Oh yeah, just look at Sweden. They're just starting to realize that they fucked up in a big way

2019-12-02 19:54:53 UTC

Europe is an entirely different discussion which I'm eager to have, but right now I'm focusing on the US just because most of us are Americans and so am I

2019-12-02 19:55:06 UTC

For the US, the biggest benefit we can give people is repealing NAFTA

2019-12-02 19:55:48 UTC

Based on what I've seen, and idk exactly how it caused it in terms of specific details, but it seems that the big influx of immigration from central and south America really doubled after NAFTA was put into place

2019-12-02 19:57:31 UTC

Right right, I was just giving the example because its a lot more volatile right now. But yeah, NAFTA seems more to screw with locals here than anything. Only promotes large global corps. I think small scale manufacturing needs to make a comeback, but thats wishful thinking

2019-12-02 19:58:27 UTC

Not really, I couldn't agree more with you. We need to reestablish a production economy in the US

2019-12-02 19:58:59 UTC

It was the destruction of that in the US which lead to the stagnation of wages, our economy, and of course financialization of our economy too

2019-12-02 19:59:51 UTC

Well of course wages stagnate when theres readily available cheap labor you can tap over seas, or hell, just import them. A surplus of labor keeps everyone down

2019-12-02 20:00:06 UTC

Exactly

2019-12-02 20:03:30 UTC

And thats why, and not everyone will agree, having women in the workforce is absolutely detrimental to both wage and family progress

2019-12-02 20:09:27 UTC

Women in caregiving roles is one thing

2019-12-02 20:12:53 UTC

Based on my observation, the biggest hit that was taken was really just all the damn blue collar work being shipped overseas. If we reestablish a production economy with blue collar jobs that pay well, and yes, raise the minimum wage to where is should be based on cost of living, then we could easily offset any harm that was done by women entering the workforce. This is also one of the issues that we have to address; the inherent falling back on boomer tradition

2019-12-02 20:13:05 UTC

We have to recognize we're talking to millennials

2019-12-02 20:13:23 UTC

Millennial women don't want to just take care of kids. They want the choice with what to do

2019-12-02 20:13:30 UTC

That's what it's all about

2019-12-02 20:13:43 UTC

Fuck em

2019-12-02 20:13:48 UTC

And there are plenty of them that are actually out there that want to be moms

2019-12-02 20:13:49 UTC

Women aren't people

2019-12-02 20:14:27 UTC

No but seriously, I don't disagree, I just feel like women are better suited to care giving roles

2019-12-02 20:14:42 UTC

They tend to be happier there too

2019-12-02 20:15:06 UTC

Even if that is true, they're only happy doing it if it's their choice

2019-12-02 20:15:16 UTC

I mean they tend to gravitate towards them anyways. You hardly see any females in hard labor positions
