So, the elevator in the verge office is horrendously programmed

The buttons just dont work when they should

because the elevator is also a badge scanner

what happens is, when you scan the badge you can press the button

but then the window you have for pressing the button doesnt reset

meaning the next person along scans their badge

Elevators are really cool and you all should listen to physical pen testing talks at hacker conventions to learn all about them
