I'm actually an oldfag, I really don't like neophiles but i still try to keep things real. A lot of my former peers sought out the new like it was a drug
Head first straight off the deep end
Also that quote is totally correct
You should be able to enjoy the simple things without shame unless you wanna turn into a Catholic priest or Hollywood producer
Also if that's true how'd that Chicago serial killer manage to find the entire dorm full of women like it was night trap @Timeward
Its milwaukee, not sure about chicago
also, was it a college dorm?
Perhaps
It was in the 50s or 60s
I'm pretty sure college dorms have exemptions in some way
or the law wasnt in effect back then
College dorms are probably exempt either way since they're under the admnistration of the university
Wait until the administrator finds out about this...
As a diabetic, this makes me sad
His levels must've been off the chart
You'd be miserable all day
Frothy piss is no joke (it's also gross)
I mean he was in the ER
maybe just coming down from DKA?
Well seeing as how i don't need insulin, i guess it's fine if it works but I'm skeptical
Synthesis of proteins without donors has never been our strong point
I mean the human species lol
And i mean proteins we don't make ourselves
:n64: πΌπ ΎοΈπ·π©
Its a team thats using genetic engineering to try creating another strain of insulin-producing (bacteria I think)
Type 1 diabetics can benefit greatly from it but the majority of diabetics are type 2 and for them they need a cure for food
Like starch free french fries
Or uhhh
Something that makes your own insulin work better, which kinda exists but most of the solutions that supplemejt insulin rather than improve reception make you fat
In the us, metformin wasn't approved for legal use until like the late 90s so most tupe 2 diabetics were Wilford brimley size
I'm type one diabetic and high glucose is fucking horrible <:sadhelper:609373088722845696>
Whether that's a consequence of government regulations or corporate shenanigans and regulatory capture I'll leave up to you
@SneekiBreeki how's it like
Also yes high glucose is miserable
But so is low, that makes you **hangry**
or
comatose
For me the most noticeable things are that your muscles start to ache a lot, and you get massively dehydrated. That means headaches quite often, and your saliva turns into something more like foul-tasting honey that's difficult to swallow.
