Ngl the swastika on the Japanese flag does looks 100% badass

2019-12-16 12:30:46 UTC

Because the swastika originally was from Asia, so maybe that’s why it fits so naturally

2019-12-16 12:31:05 UTC

Or you're subconsciously a nazi

2019-12-16 12:31:12 UTC

The swastika evolved concurrently on most continents with artistic inclination.

2019-12-16 12:31:20 UTC

No one people 'invented' it first.

2019-12-16 12:31:20 UTC

Plus white/black/red has always been my favorite color scheme

2019-12-16 12:31:44 UTC

It's just most famously associated with Buddhism.

2019-12-16 12:32:00 UTC

Would you say symbols have meanings or the other way round

2019-12-16 12:32:38 UTC

That is an exercise in symbolic culture. They have meanings because people believe they do.

2019-12-16 12:32:45 UTC

And then the meaning becomes defined itself by the symbol.

2019-12-16 12:32:57 UTC

Like Christianity and the cross perhaps.

2019-12-16 12:34:12 UTC

There are quite a lot of things that have a sort of "factual" existence based in collective belief rather than reasoned evidence.

2019-12-16 12:34:29 UTC

Stop ruining my wholesome borb hours with your text in walls

2019-12-16 12:34:32 UTC

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

2019-12-16 12:34:37 UTC

Continue with borbs.

2019-12-16 12:35:33 UTC

The tl;dr about swastikas is, Hitler was an incel with a bunch of wizard larping friends and that's why we can't use it anymore.
