I am not encouraging immigration, I am only saying that immigration should permit people based on merit and their productive capabilities. If they can prove they are coming for the right reasons they should be given a chance. I do support a limit on immigration rate as well, this is due to economic reasons as well as cultural reasons.

So if the Bangladeshi decides to "strike it rich" by working as a carpenter in England, then he's adding unecessary competition to the English carpenter, putting his job and income level at risk.
