Hook it up with Arduino or something

2019-12-05 18:37:00 UTC

well, more like be able to translate between an Arduino sketch and a minecraft object

2019-12-05 18:37:13 UTC

Kicad schematic to meinkraft circuit

2019-12-05 18:37:23 UTC

THAT would be cool

2019-12-05 18:38:01 UTC

Minecraft is still java

2019-12-05 18:38:20 UTC

The windows 10 edition is just Microsoft trying to resell the same game

2019-12-05 18:38:21 UTC

Java is still better if memory is at a premium

2019-12-05 18:38:25 UTC

Well there are definitely things that happened in game that output messages to my server overview

2019-12-05 18:38:33 UTC

Open Computers/computer craft, will teach you how to write programming to set tasks that you as a player will do, very advanced, it's merely a couple of mods in an environment that you can add a surprising amount to, I used to make custom mod packs, the possibilities are insane actually.

2019-12-05 18:38:34 UTC

memory is cheap though

2019-12-05 18:38:59 UTC

Also I've seen Discord integration

2019-12-05 18:39:00 UTC

I like a lot of exploration type stuff

2019-12-05 18:39:02 UTC

opens up some interesting possibilities

2019-12-05 18:39:19 UTC

hexxit and tekxit are good

2019-12-05 18:39:29 UTC

tekxit is a combo of tekkit and hexxit but more updated

2019-12-05 18:39:38 UTC

always thought they should do more cross-compatibility between real-world tools and games like Kerbal

2019-12-05 18:39:41 UTC

yes yes, you can also easily download a premade mod pack

2019-12-05 18:39:43 UTC

I don't suppose you have any spigot bucket experience?

2019-12-05 18:39:44 UTC

cos hexxit is stuck on the 2013 build of minecraft

2019-12-05 18:39:53 UTC

You'll waste a lot of hours in minecraft

2019-12-05 18:40:13 UTC

not if you can translate the objects to real life objects

2019-12-05 18:40:17 UTC

the Twitch launcher is the easiest way to get a proper tested and proved modpack up and going, very easily..

2019-12-05 18:40:33 UTC

I like the technic laucher myself

2019-12-05 18:40:35 UTC

would be alot less tedious than say drawing up a Kicad schematic

2019-12-05 18:41:05 UTC

But, I do suggest, it you are new- to learn the basics of mc first, a few times over if needed.

2019-12-05 18:41:23 UTC

even vanilla mc can be a lot to take in

2019-12-05 18:41:33 UTC

Yeah get a game in, play with some vanilla

2019-12-05 18:41:49 UTC

Not really, just open wikipage with recipes and gather the ingredients

2019-12-05 18:42:01 UTC

hmm, sounds like something that would be interesting; of course, I'm already not getting enough done

2019-12-05 18:42:11 UTC

current timeline

2019-12-05 18:42:17 UTC

nah, 14.4 now has recipe help <@325656385524072458>

2019-12-05 18:42:24 UTC

baud?

2019-12-05 18:42:28 UTC

😉

2019-12-05 18:42:34 UTC

@ManAnimal Best to keep minecraft for when you retire

2019-12-05 18:42:39 UTC

2019-12-05 18:42:54 UTC
