Language exists only to communicate information. It's clear, given English has the highest RIE, why it is the most spoken language and will be the only language spoken, if people are allowed freedom. It's inevitable anyway, until some other more efficient language comes in to replace it or we're all communicating through technologically-assisted telepathy.
