I respect the UBI concept, but it's extremely complicated to apply without just just blowing up your welfare queen demographic.

2019-12-19 02:07:56 UTC

yeah imgur is pissing me off...

2019-12-19 02:08:22 UTC

I don't think UBI would raise the cost of low level amenities like drink but it would destroy more expansive things

2019-12-19 02:08:43 UTC

Like everyone would be able to afford paying mortgage with 100% security because the gov money doesn't stop coming

2019-12-19 02:08:46 UTC

UBI is a terrible concept, if they wanted to fix the issue then increase base rate tax exemptions

2019-12-19 02:08:49 UTC

Yea it would. Inflation makes everything more expensive.

2019-12-19 02:08:56 UTC

Pop to rent.

2019-12-19 02:09:22 UTC

Rent would go up for sure

2019-12-19 02:09:28 UTC

When you give people a free 10-12K a year watch as the rent rates increase

2019-12-19 02:09:38 UTC

Fact is we don't know what would happen if we did UBI Yangs way, only speculate.

2019-12-19 02:09:39 UTC

if everyone has an easy 1k, it has little value

2019-12-19 02:09:41 UTC

junk food would too

2019-12-19 02:09:53 UTC

all those jobs are unable to find anyone all of a sudden

2019-12-19 02:10:06 UTC

Could he at least be a candidate that wouldn't cause more divide in the community? Ya know, Tulsi Trump derangement 2.0 and such.

2019-12-19 02:10:07 UTC

Why work at McD's when you can just live off 20k a year

2019-12-19 02:10:09 UTC

Better to increase minimum wage tax exemptions, ie you earn below 16,000 annually? no taxes

2019-12-19 02:10:25 UTC

I'm no American, meaning I'm not in on the buzz, so what is next for ol' Donny?

2019-12-19 02:10:42 UTC

I don't like the current tax system at all

2019-12-19 02:10:42 UTC

Yea, tax rebates for poor is way better than just giving them UBI.

2019-12-19 02:11:02 UTC

Why work at McDonalds when the job is already being replaced by a computer?

2019-12-19 02:11:06 UTC

Thats the point.

2019-12-19 02:11:13 UTC

UBI should be left to elderly, disabled.

2019-12-19 02:11:14 UTC

The UK does it spot on imo, the first 12,500 isnt taxed, anything after that up to 50,000 is taxed at 20%

2019-12-19 02:11:36 UTC

ouch

2019-12-19 02:11:49 UTC

Honestly its not that bad

2019-12-19 02:11:50 UTC

Exempt and reimburse student debt.

2019-12-19 02:11:54 UTC

50K a year is a lot in the Uk i guess.

2019-12-19 02:11:56 UTC

the actual disabled get the least help from government

2019-12-19 02:12:01 UTC

Most aint on 50K

2019-12-19 02:12:09 UTC

50k CAD is nothing.

2019-12-19 02:12:10 UTC

Most are on about 25-30K annually

2019-12-19 02:12:10 UTC

while some skank that shits out 15 fatherless kids gets the most

2019-12-19 02:12:26 UTC

Tradesmen and educated generally go for about 35-40K+

2019-12-19 02:12:38 UTC

Look at the egos here lol

2019-12-19 02:12:43 UTC

I'd honestly be for a flat tax rate up until wealth over a 10 million I can't see why we shouldn't be making it as easier as possible to become a low level millionaire

2019-12-19 02:12:43 UTC

they are callled 'notes', storin

2019-12-19 02:13:00 UTC
