Is God consistent with the scientific method?

2019-07-29 02:16:08 UTC

is a total disbelief in God consistent in it?

2019-07-29 02:16:15 UTC

lmao he literally says there is no evidence for God in the article

2019-07-29 02:16:18 UTC

the scientific is flawed

2019-07-29 02:16:26 UTC

so should I be agnostic about fairies too?

2019-07-29 02:16:27 UTC

because its based on our observations

2019-07-29 02:16:32 UTC

which are flawed

2019-07-29 02:16:34 UTC

or santa?

2019-07-29 02:16:43 UTC

You can't prove a negative, and I don't see evidence for either of them

2019-07-29 02:16:50 UTC

so the only logical thing to do is say

2019-07-29 02:16:53 UTC

"idk maybe they are real"

2019-07-29 02:17:07 UTC

how are our observations flawe

2019-07-29 02:17:19 UTC

so

2019-07-29 02:17:21 UTC

you are saying

2019-07-29 02:17:26 UTC

your senses are perfect?

2019-07-29 02:17:49 UTC

If the Big Bang is real then what the fuck exploded

2019-07-29 02:18:00 UTC

nothing exploded

2019-07-29 02:18:14 UTC

that sounds pretty contradictory tbf

2019-07-29 02:18:18 UTC

it was an expansion of space and time

2019-07-29 02:18:24 UTC

not an explosion in the way you are thinking

2019-07-29 02:18:38 UTC

but nothing existed before

2019-07-29 02:18:48 UTC

nothing can't make something by itself

2019-07-29 02:18:49 UTC

Then how did it appear

2019-07-29 02:18:55 UTC

Yeah

2019-07-29 02:19:41 UTC

What expanded into existence if there was nothing there in the first place?

2019-07-29 02:24:26 UTC

in short, we currently don't know yet. Before the Planck Epoch (only the smallest fraction of a second after the big bang) the universe would have been dominated by the force of quantum gravity. quantum gravity is the unification of general relativity and quantum mechanics, and describes how gravity might function at the subatomic level. We currently do not have a theory of quantum gravity (but we are working on one!) so we cannot be sure what existed prior to the aforementioned epoch. It is also believed that if the universe were condensed into a singularity (we call this the 'initial singularity) as general relativity predicts, space and time would have been united and indistinguishable. This goes into some pretty complex stuff like Imaginary time (imaginary time has not yet been confirmed)

2019-07-29 02:24:47 UTC

did you see all this happen

2019-07-29 02:25:32 UTC

no, its similar to a crime scene. We see the blood on the walls, a recently fired handgun in the bushes a few meters away, and a dead body

2019-07-29 02:25:41 UTC

using these clues we determine what happened in the past

2019-07-29 02:26:19 UTC

We look at the clues in our universe, such as the redshift of galaxies, the cosmic microwave background radiation, and the abundance of quasars in the distant universe, then come to a conclusion about the past

2019-07-29 02:27:12 UTC
2019-07-29 02:27:29 UTC

thanks for the completely relevant link

2019-07-29 02:27:36 UTC

global warming

2019-07-29 02:29:03 UTC

Global warming is real?

2019-07-29 02:30:46 UTC

I've always wondered do people in political servers take the time to study this shit, or assumptions, or just go by the media

2019-07-29 02:31:08 UTC

depends on what you are talking about

2019-07-29 02:31:14 UTC

I have no idea about politics nor do I care for them, I just join these servers for the fuck of it
