You can just type the verse in chat and write KJV at the end @Veraic

2019-12-12 06:11:47 UTC

2019-12-12 06:12:49 UTC

It is

2019-12-12 06:13:06 UTC

Titus 1:10-11 KJV

2019-12-12 06:13:07 UTC

2019-12-12 06:16:35 UTC

Christianity's alright.

2019-12-12 06:16:52 UTC

Certainly beneficial and good.

2019-12-12 12:33:26 UTC

@Maksim so back to the problem of last night

2019-12-12 12:33:55 UTC

All you said was p1 and p2 and that they don’t contradict

2019-12-12 12:34:12 UTC

P1 and p2 contradicting wasn’t even in question

2019-12-12 12:36:49 UTC

The problem is. I’m the Christian view it’s believed that god can not be incomplete, yet having desires defacto means you are incomplete, being complete would mean not having desires. Similarly having desires means you’re not pure actualization, Because desires are potential

2019-12-12 12:38:06 UTC

That’s why your response was a dodge

2019-12-12 12:40:45 UTC

Basically all of the responses boiled down to: god can’t be imperfect and yes god has will but it’s not will for himself, it’s will for us! Or god can’t be imperfect and god has will(which is just reiterating the logical problem at hand

2019-12-12 12:52:43 UTC

@Veraic theres your explanation. next time youre having a serious conversation about suicide in the middle of any of our conversations, ill assume you cant explain. >.>

2019-12-12 15:57:11 UTC

@Joywolf No. We already explained it thrice, but you fail to understand our concepts. God's desires are for us to make the right choice - i.e outside of his (voluntary) control. He has decided that we should have free will, and gave us the choice. He wants us to make the right choice, he is utterly complete, WE are not and he wants us to be

2019-12-12 15:57:23 UTC

I don't understand why it's so hard for you to grasp this concept

2019-12-12 16:01:58 UTC

its not outside of him. its *his* desire, how can it be his desire and outside of him. its not *my* desire that i should make the "right choice"

2019-12-12 16:02:21 UTC

I don't understand why it's so hard for you to grasp this concept

2019-12-12 16:02:30 UTC
2019-12-12 16:05:23 UTC

@Joywolf It's his desire and it is outside of him

2019-12-12 16:05:29 UTC

That is the nature of being omnipotent

2019-12-12 16:05:47 UTC

lol its still his desire

2019-12-12 16:05:51 UTC

you keep dodging

2019-12-12 16:06:11 UTC

No, it's omnipotence

2019-12-12 16:06:25 UTC

It is like a quantum particle

2019-12-12 16:06:27 UTC

desire isnt omnipotence

2019-12-12 16:06:31 UTC

It can be in 2 states at once

2019-12-12 16:06:45 UTC

Stop thinking in binary

2019-12-12 16:06:58 UTC

Either/or's

2019-12-12 16:07:44 UTC

desire is a state that some one can be either in or out of accord with. it doesnt matter if they are in or out of accord with it. Having the potentiality to be in or out of accord with it means necessarily that theres potentiality

2019-12-12 16:08:51 UTC

this applies for quantum particles as well. even if you havent chosen a state, the potential to be in a state means necessarily you have potentiality

2019-12-12 16:09:32 UTC

God has a desire that is external

2019-12-12 16:09:44 UTC

The want for *us* to make the right choice

2019-12-12 16:09:54 UTC

And he has decided to not force us
