That's true, yeah.
Hell i remember we had a kid, Dymek we called him, who smoked in middle school
got into fights
director couldnt hit him
so he told him that he was going to dig 100 holes and plant 100, fairly large trees around campus
otherwise he couldnt graduate
the guy finished with honors
became a proper dude after that
Ingenious 😮
Plus good for the environment
Win-win
true
Corporal punishment should be a parent's decision, not the schools.
But if the parents are rather lazy in their parenting then it could be justified.
I would say almost all kids who are bad children growing up are that way due to the parents not doing enough.
If a parent is obviously one of these then the school may be needed in taking on that role in the punishment department to a degree.
Parents today are just
Terrible
incompetent
@everyone Daily Question 🔖
- Should euthanasia or physician-assisted suicide be legal?
N
O
Absolutely not, suicide is pathetic and we shouldn't have it be accessible
@nick uhr why yes
I think people with chronic pains, or uncurable painful diseases should have the choice to leave life.
No
@nick uhr No, you do not get to "leave" life simply because you're in pain
Part of life is living with shit you don't wanna live with.
^
However, the science of pain has improved so much that we could basically cure pain for chronic conditions like arthritis or fibromyalgia (at least in a hospital setting).
💁
Just because you need more than an Advil to deal with chronic pain doesn't mean that you should get a doctor to pump poison into you.
Morphine
~~cocaine~~
I disagree with morphine unless you are terminal or just after surgery.
Well, there are so many different methods anyhow
leave that one up to the doctors lol
Many people who leave the hospital with a morphine prescription get hooked.
@Deleted User is that the mf from Baby Driver in your pfp
But chronic pain can be dealt with in many different ways and that's the point
