I have had personal experience where socialist policies destroy lives and force people to become slaves of the state where capitalism frees them. So please explain how government intervention in the economy is a good thing.

Simple. There was this girl who rented from us, she was a nice young thing who actually began to work for us. She didn’t take any benefits and so she worked hard on a couple jobs, made some good investments and actually got a good job and began to make her way in life. Then there was an accident and she got let go at her job. Her sister told her it would be a great idea to go on welfare and food stamps. And so she did. Even when another company offered her a better job she turned it down because although she makes less, she can just claim unemployment, HUD and welfare from the government. You’re Prime socialism.
