Christardanity didn't exist tens of thousands of years ago, it's a relatively new "religion"
Christianity uplifted Europe, the Carolingian Renaissance was Europe’s salvation from pagan savagery back into civilisation.
>Christardanity uplifted Europe
LOL
@Simmons ☧ Let's talk about the Monarchy we were discussing
Europe was originally and always will be PAGAN

No insulting towards anything or anyone whatsoever
Ignore or debate
@Simmons ☧ the monarchy
The monarch should not dabble in "Philosophy"
This leads to belief in human wisdom
Which is fatal
Only divine wisdom is necessary
A lot of Christian theology and our own masterminds like Thomas Aquinas and Augustine were ‘philosophers’.
I refer to biblical text
Proverbs 29:16
**Proverbs 29:16 - Good News Translation (GNT)**
```Dust
<16> When evil people are in power, crime increases. But the righteous will live to see the downfall of such people. ```
Pre-Christian Socrates famously considered himself to be unwise because he considered that ‘he knew nothing’
damn
Catholicism directly supports reason
While criticising people who considered themselves wise for being even less wise for the crime of mistaking themselves wise.
However reason without faith is sin
I refer to Christianity in the broad sense not Catholicism nor did I even mention Catholicism so idk why you're bringing it up but ok
@Eoppa Sorry I didn’t see your message properly, I’ll get to you soon then mate.
Yeah, I don't mean to interrupt I just wanted that out there
@Maksim I’m a Protestant, but I agree with Eoppa, reason in conjunction with faith is important. I also think you’re mistaken in your belief that philosophy makes people believe themselves wise, in accordance with my Socrates example.
Could you expand on your position for me?
I would love to but I have to get to math class
I will respond once this and the next class are out
