Oh so you're just gay

2019-11-18 23:07:19 UTC

I don’t care about other people’s religious freedoms

2019-11-18 23:07:31 UTC

because I don’t uphold the values of equality

2019-11-19 00:32:28 UTC

@ChaosNatural What denomination are you?

2019-11-19 00:32:43 UTC

Bapstist

2019-11-19 00:32:57 UTC

Interesting

2019-11-19 04:12:05 UTC
2019-11-19 04:12:28 UTC

lmao @ Typical Christian behavior

2019-11-19 04:12:48 UTC

spergs out over the smallest things, because "ZOMG AN ATTACK ON MY RELIGOIN"

2019-11-19 04:13:02 UTC

while having no problem doing worse to those of other religions

2019-11-19 04:13:10 UTC

the definition of hypocrisy

2019-11-19 04:26:03 UTC

When do we do worse to other religions though? How often do Catholics/Protestants/Orthodox massacre hundreds of people on religious holy days?

2019-11-19 04:26:58 UTC

We haven’t really done these things on a comparable scale since the Crusades and Inquisition.

2019-11-19 04:28:39 UTC

I lack to see the hypocrisy here, undeniably Christians are the most martyred faith since it’s rise.

2019-11-19 04:34:09 UTC

Having an enemy and opposing them isn’t hypocrisy

2019-11-19 04:34:48 UTC

I’m haven’t said “grrr, they should respect us” as that would be hypocritical of myself.

2019-11-19 04:35:36 UTC

Crusades were justified but whatever

2019-11-19 04:36:01 UTC

Christianity was attacked first

2019-11-19 04:37:11 UTC

I only used the crusades as an example because it was the last era or event in which Christians directly persecuted another faith (aside from the inquisition)

2019-11-19 04:37:30 UTC

inb4 Addie comes screeching in about muh what about turn the other cheek reeeee <:aaa:604871400825552906> <:aaa:604871400825552906> <:aaa:604871400825552906>

2019-11-19 04:37:44 UTC

Though I do believe in the actions of both the inquisition and crusade

2019-11-19 04:38:43 UTC

@Stahlgewittern Genuinely, what would you say in response to all the verses talking about not retaliating against your enemies

2019-11-19 04:39:26 UTC

Christ himself did not come to did not come to bring peace but a sword

2019-11-19 04:39:44 UTC

how gay are u to actually not fight back against an enemy

2019-11-19 04:40:13 UTC

We strive to be Christlike

2019-11-19 04:40:26 UTC

Even Christ was driven to violence

2019-11-19 04:40:28 UTC

@Stahlgewittern That verse is taken way out of context ngl

2019-11-19 04:41:00 UTC

Did Christ not fashion a whip and drive money changers from the temples?

2019-11-19 04:41:57 UTC

Matthew 5:38-39 refers to personal offense

2019-11-19 04:42:09 UTC

but we should not accept offense to God

2019-11-19 04:42:15 UTC

When he talks about bringing a sword, reading the entire chapter clearly shows that he is taking about in that time when 1 Christian in a family would be outcast and he specifically mentioned brother vs brother and father vs son in reference to the fact that being Christian would see you be persecuted - and to not abandon your faith

2019-11-19 04:42:40 UTC

Matthew 10:34-36

2019-11-19 04:42:43 UTC

I’m aware

2019-11-19 04:43:45 UTC

I do not clearly remember where in the Bible is speaks of it unfortunately, but there was an instance where a man talked ill of Jesus and oke of the apostles cut the man's ear for it but Jesus rebuked the apostle for it

2019-11-19 04:44:37 UTC

I don't have that specific instance bookmarked so I don't remember where it talked about it

2019-11-19 04:45:24 UTC

That was during the arrest of Jesus

2019-11-19 04:45:59 UTC

John 18:10-11

2019-11-19 04:46:00 UTC

2019-11-19 04:46:14 UTC

Ah

2019-11-19 04:46:15 UTC

Thanks

2019-11-19 04:46:44 UTC

I do believe in defense of the Lord by less peaceful means just making that clear tho
