Go back to 1973 when they removed homosexuality from the DSM. What study was that due to again? Oh that's right, no study. A study "proving" homosexuality to be "normal" was only released 2 years after they took it out of the book.

It was taken out of the DSM 2 years before a "study" came out showing it was "normal". Taken out of the DSM due soley to political pressure and it's reasonable from there to say that any "studies" that came out afterwards were also the result of political pressure.

a) significant distress in those afflicted
b) causes behaviors that hinder ones ability to function in society
