I really don’t understand why people keep comparing the US government confiscating guns to the British confiscating guns. It’s completely ignoring the major factor of non-representation of American opinion in British law. The same cannot be said for that of Americans and the US government. It’s simply not comparable. Now, I’m not saying that the US government confiscating guns is a good thing, I’m saying people should quit trying to compare it to the Brits doing it in 1775.

Taking away the people’s right to defend themselves and form militias is the same premise wherever it’s done
