Empathy being the main prohibitive feature

2019-12-09 01:51:29 UTC

You could be sensible and lack empathy

2019-12-09 01:51:53 UTC

Or maybe fear is the main one

2019-12-09 01:51:56 UTC

That’s up for debate

2019-12-09 01:52:05 UTC

But I stand by my@point

2019-12-09 01:52:15 UTC

So you would consider a person in ownership of their senses going on a murder spree to be a completely reasonable and likely event? @Blueroad

2019-12-09 01:53:10 UTC

I’m familiar with characters throughout history that were acting sensibly (at least as far as anyone outside of their mind could tell) and were simultaneously killing many many people

2019-12-09 01:53:26 UTC

Presumably it wouldn’t be murder on their view either

2019-12-09 01:54:20 UTC

I didn’t say killed, I said murdered, didn’t I. In other words killing in a malicious form.

2019-12-09 01:54:32 UTC

Well all killing seems to be malicious

2019-12-09 01:54:57 UTC

And I don’t think what makes a killing unjustified is universal

2019-12-09 01:55:12 UTC

And by killing I mean taking somebody s life intentionally

2019-12-09 01:55:23 UTC

what makes killing justified is whos framing it

2019-12-09 01:55:30 UTC

This

2019-12-09 01:58:30 UTC
2019-12-09 02:00:34 UTC
2019-12-09 02:00:43 UTC

whats the argument?

2019-12-09 02:01:37 UTC

@Blueroad I would term malicious as doing more bad than good. Often killing is justified by being overall beneficial to humanity.

2019-12-09 02:01:47 UTC

Oh ok

2019-12-09 02:01:58 UTC

I’m just using malicious to mean intending to cause harm to another person

2019-12-09 02:02:17 UTC

I think killing is justified in light of me wanting it to happen

2019-12-09 02:03:26 UTC

@DrRisen how do you determine good and bad in terms of human benefit

2019-12-09 02:03:37 UTC

what does it mean for humans to benefit

2019-12-09 02:06:13 UTC

sorry but women cannot hold any good political opinions

2019-12-09 02:06:33 UTC

@Joywolf Not really sure. I’m mostly asking question to play the devils, or rather gods advocate.

2019-12-09 02:06:58 UTC

@901 it’s ok hers are just a reflection of mine

2019-12-09 02:07:02 UTC

I’m a guy so no problem

2019-12-09 02:07:41 UTC

@901 this^ at least i can follow an argument, as opposed to not even able to comprehend one enough to respond

2019-12-09 02:07:45 UTC
2019-12-09 02:07:57 UTC

Shit bro you just got called a simp

2019-12-09 02:08:01 UTC

War can be justified, in a just war, killing can be ok as well as in similar lines of duty such has Law enforcement(but the continuum of force is different). Excecutioner is also a profession where killing is justified

2019-12-09 03:12:19 UTC

hey lads

2019-12-09 03:21:30 UTC

Anybody an automotives enthusiast here, by the way?

2019-12-09 03:22:37 UTC

Or the KIA Stinger GT2.
