So basically I put the thread and this together for the purpose of promoting and thinking of ways to get a Midwest ethnic nationalist movement going. That means memes, propaganda, eventually a full organization.

I see. Here's the thing, I'm not sold 100% sold on ethno-nationalism. I've been reading a lot of books on politics, philosophy, history, and theology, etc. A lot of right wing/reactionary stuff too. I think that there are more practical and less controversial actions that individuals and communities should pursue before ethno-nationalism. For example have you heard of the Benedict option?

And ethnic nationalism can be a focus but doesn't have to be the main one. The Midwest is already extremely white. So by being a nationalist movement it's kinda already implied

I see a return to traditional Christian orthodoxy as a more beneficial path for society. The Benedict option is book encouraging orthodox Christians to form tight-knit citadels of faith and community to withstand progressive society. For me the main problems in society is the collapse of marriage and family, consumerism, materialism, secularism, transgenderism, and atomization. I don't see a political movement based on whiteness fixing those problems especially when whites are the most complicit in some of these things. I know a lot of people these days are atheist or agnostic, so they won't like what I have to say, but it's what I think is true. A lot of European/Western culture and tradition is enshrined in orthodox Christianity, so I think reviving tradition can revive civilization and culture. White is just too shallow, because everything else in the modern world is shallow.

White nationalism has a lot to do with traditionalism. It's not just about skin color but the culture and beliefs that come with it. Check out some accounts on twitter. A lot of them are about a return to traditional Christianity

I wish I had more to contribute to this, I'm not as educated on this particular topic as you guys are, and not exactly in a thinking mood today either . The main thing that's been on my mind today is thirdworld refugees getting dumped in small towns like Twin Falls Idaho, and well, you know what happened there...
Right now I live in Ames IA (fled from Chicago) and I'm worried about that shit happening here. The college campus seems conservative enough (conservative for an American college that is) but the town itself is basically one big liberal boomer retirement village, they'll surely welcome this shit once it happens.

I'm sure that's true. I'm Catholic and I have a of Catholic friends who are non-white but they live and breath traditional values than white Catholics, myself included. In fact they serve as good role models on how to be and live. There are devout priests from Africa who are bringing Americans and Europeans back to the Church in droves, and are reviving traditional liturgies. My reservations are that white nationalism might ruin that. I know it's hard to believe but Western civilization may be preserved in former backwards places like Africa and Eastern Europe. (However that doesn't mean I'm pro immigration though.)

I'm reading through The Strange Death of Europe by Douglas Murray atm. I'm totally sold on why we need to stop immigrating so many people, especially the Islamic world. But I'm also not opposed to a parish getting an African priest who is totally fearless to speak out against sin and degeneracy from the pulpit.

And that's fine man but we also need an ethnic home. You're just not going to get people excited about a mid west nationalist movement without the race component. We don't have enough connecting us together besides our common ancestry.

Send the black priests to Africa so they can save people there. Most of the Midwest is Christian. Most of Africa is not.

@IdentityIndiana Maybe someday, and if that day comes I might be there for it. But for me right now, I am interest in non-political (or even anti-political) means of fixing the crisis. As someone who lives in Minneapolis, there is so much self hate people have for their whiteness, it's mentally destabilizing them. If a Midwest white nationalist movement tried to take off tomorrow, it would be torpedoed by white progressives, not non-whites.

@The Pigeon Not so much from the older priests from what I've seen, but the newest generation of priests give me hope. There still is a shortage of priests across the U.S and Europe, and the Church so I think they will be a benefit. Look at this way. Priests are celibate. An African priest isn't going to intermarry or have a large family that would contribute to displacement. It's also possible that an African priest by speaking out against contraception, abortion, and pre-marital sex, and promoting the traditional family while drawing in young people back to the Church, could help bring back large white traditional families. Should we really send them back in that case? Let me be clear, I'm not making a case for immigration or multiculturalism by using the example of the priest. All I'm saying is that there are non-white people who can aid the cause of white Europeans because their voice gives strength to those of us who want to revive tradition. I guess I still believe that traditional values are more important than racial homogeneity. If you disagree I understand, but that's where I'm at.

That's the thing man you're thinking with an urban mindset. Most of the region is rural. They may not be proud of being white per say but they're over being told it's a bad thing. Got to get out of the mindset that the whole region is like one of the most liberal cities in the whole place.

You're probably right about that. I've been thinking that I should I move out of the city for a few years to get a different experience of life.

I would recommend it. Less things to do but better quality of people.

For real. I went to a College in a small town and grew to love it. I was born and raised in the city so I have a fondness for them too, but these days they've gotten so liberal it's getting to be alienating. It's sad to see what's happening to people in the cities these days.

Yea I lived in Indianapolis for a while when I was on an internship working for state government. I'm from a town of like 2000 people so it was a big change. I like the cities. They can be fun. It's time we take them back. Even Detroit still has so much potential. White men built those cities and liberal policies bringing in hordes of unskilled blacks and Mexicans ran them to the ground. All to get votes. We must take back what's ours.
