I don't know if any of you have heard of the book Gruesome Harvest but it's an account of what happened to the german people after ww2 when the country was destroyed and there was no food and everything. heartbreaking

I was angry over it. I started to hate our country for what we did but I know the average folk didn't know any better. the bombing of Dresden and everything. worse than any fake gas chamber/oven stories

In my ww2 class we didn't even spend a day on the bombings

because they won't tell you anything negative that the allies did

One teacher set the entire thing up

the schools treat the holocaust with all kinds of reverence and sympathy and try to push on you how important and tragic it is. when they don't do that with any other event that just gets glossed over. I knew it was fishy when I was in school but I didn't understand why
