Give me a TL:DR
Page 9:
`What we commonly call politics today should instead be called Statecraft. Statecraft is the practice of exercising power over citizens. This power is held by professional politicians and bureaucrats and is backed by a monopoly of violence through the institutions of the military, secret service, police, prison industrial complex, and the like.`
Power over people is completely natural. Some people lead, some follow.
That's what we were talking about in the voice chat.
We recognize the need for a chain of command. A structure.
Also, someone leading and someone following does not equal tyranny.
Also also, a man not having any leaders does not make him free. He is just as likely to be victim to a tyranny of his own vices.
Men actively choose to be lead all the time. It's actually a little reassuring, knowing that you don't have to make EVERY SINGLE DECISION in your life.
I miss being able to fallback on the wisdom and strength of my NCO's. Their leadership made me understand reality for what it was. Their guidence helped me become the man I am today.
Saying that someone having power over someone else is inherently a bad thing is fucking nonsense. It depends on the degree of that power.
It depends on whether or not that power affects your life in a postive or negative way.
`The State is an organized system of social coercion based on the belief that we are all incompetent beings who cannot be allowed to participate in the decision making of society. Living under this system, people’s unique and diverse identities are reduced to “taxpayer,” “voter,” and “constituent.”`
"Social coercion" is a nice way of saying guidance. And people's natural identities are subsumed under the blanket of materialism and liberal democracy, where politicking becomes a game for profit. A founding principle of Fascism is the unification and universal recognition of the natural identities of the family, community, nation and race, and a State that understands and exists in harmony with them.
`Representative governments and the bureaucracies that sustain them are fundamentally opposed to popular democratic power. `
They fail to realize that the same forces of subversion can buy off the unguided masses just as easy as they can buy a politician who represents them.
Bread and games, my nigga.
`No policy is democratically legitimate unless it has been proposed, discussed, and decided upon by people in a facetoface assembly.`
This will lead to a State without the power to act. Without the will to move forward, and without leadership and the swift force needed to sustain the nation in times of turmoil. A State that does not have the power to act will find itself at the mercy of one that does.
Are you implying that some decisions shouldn't be deliberated on for months on end?
With no end in sight?
`Although Greek citizenship was blatantly exclusive from today's perspective, the idea was established that people were competent to administer their lives themselves without the mediation of an external authority.`
It's almost as if these types of democratic processes do not work in any way, shape, or form unless they are highly restricted so that they maximize the power of those with the credibility to lead. Their foundation is ancient Greek direct democracy but they disavow them for racism in their main educating document.
`In many ways, the Spanish Revolution was the most far reaching revolution in history.`
Until they got crushed by those *with the power to act, and with the will to lead.*
You're referring to the Spanish fascist's who beat the commies?
See the Paris Commune for what happens when these exessively democratic societies attempt to function outside of a vaccum just like in Spain. They get crushed by those with set heirarchy.
