Idk shit about cameras
But i wanna learn
Oh definitely it's very easy to start with video but once you want to get into a special look in format and editing is where it becomes very tricky for a cooking videos you're going to be in a well-lit insulated environment where there's not a whole lot of movement so I would recommend the Sony a6000
Compact mirrorless DSLR cameras are really the future
If we're speaking basic specs you pull at Max 4k 120fps
So that would get you those really crisp and clear slow motion shots of food if you wanted to
Dslr are the ones that look like photography cameras?
Or actually mirrorless DSLR is sort of a double negative but yes
Yeaaa
Thats what i had in my mind
Ahh
Something along those lines
I got u
One sec
i dont have an audio card but I do need to get a bigger audio interface
probably a new mixer too
Yea i got a bigger audio interface cuz every once in a while ill have some jam band or performance i wanna record so then ill need a bunch of different i/o's for the small live mixers
ive got a live set at the end of the month and I need to start figuring out what im doing lol
I specifically bought it for live sets hahaha
Whats ur live rig lookin like atm,
@sky daddy the Sony Alpha a7 II it's a full frame UHD 4K camera that is very adaptable when it comes to lenses because for cooking videos you would need a standard 50 mm and then a macro for close-up shots
i posted it before
its a bunch of synthesizers n shit
its a noise show so im gonna do some weird shit lol
Oooo fun
Fuck man thats a lil out of my budget as a camera pleb :/ maybe its worth the investment tho
I liked the price on that a6000

A6000 is the best option homie
You can stick with the kit lens and then get a macro lens
