Yea

2019-11-07 17:26:21 UTC

I mean whats a red cost

2019-11-07 17:26:23 UTC

20k?

2019-11-07 17:26:35 UTC

30k just for the brain

2019-11-07 17:26:49 UTC

Yea so thats gonna be like ur ssl console in a studio

2019-11-07 17:27:05 UTC

And then you have the high-capacity ssds which are like $2,000 a piece and it's a modular camera so you have to have multiple modules to have a basic functioning video capturing device

2019-11-07 17:27:15 UTC

And you need more than one SSD mag

2019-11-07 17:27:23 UTC

Mhm

2019-11-07 17:27:28 UTC

Its expensive stuff

2019-11-07 17:27:40 UTC

But luckily we live in a time to where u dont need that

2019-11-07 17:27:47 UTC

Yeah it's better just to rent to be honest

2019-11-07 17:27:50 UTC

Its just nice to have access too for bigger projects

Like I work with a camera called the Alexa mini and basically that is like the industry standard and it's pretty revolutionary because it doesn't cost that much and these cameras have been awarded Oscars and have been in Netflix originals and have shot multibillion-dollar movies while only being $30,000 and that's pretty cheap for the main camera module

2019-11-07 17:29:13 UTC

Maybe u can help me find an entry level camera i can use for a cookin channel on youtube

2019-11-07 17:29:21 UTC

Idk shit about cameras

2019-11-07 17:29:26 UTC

But i wanna learn

2019-11-07 17:30:53 UTC

Oh definitely it's very easy to start with video but once you want to get into a special look in format and editing is where it becomes very tricky for a cooking videos you're going to be in a well-lit insulated environment where there's not a whole lot of movement so I would recommend the Sony a6000

2019-11-07 17:31:04 UTC

Compact mirrorless DSLR cameras are really the future

2019-11-07 17:31:39 UTC

If we're speaking basic specs you pull at Max 4k 120fps

2019-11-07 17:31:50 UTC

So that would get you those really crisp and clear slow motion shots of food if you wanted to

2019-11-07 17:32:20 UTC

Dslr are the ones that look like photography cameras?

2019-11-07 17:32:41 UTC

Or actually mirrorless DSLR is sort of a double negative but yes

2019-11-07 17:32:47 UTC

Yeaaa

2019-11-07 17:32:54 UTC

Thats what i had in my mind

2019-11-07 17:32:59 UTC

Ahh

2019-11-07 17:33:00 UTC

Something along those lines

2019-11-07 17:33:03 UTC

2019-11-07 17:33:05 UTC

2019-11-07 17:34:48 UTC

2019-11-07 17:34:54 UTC

2019-11-07 17:36:27 UTC

Yea i got a bigger audio interface cuz every once in a while ill have some jam band or performance i wanna record so then ill need a bunch of different i/o's for the small live mixers

2019-11-07 17:38:00 UTC

2019-11-07 17:38:26 UTC

Yea i have that mixer lol

2019-11-07 17:38:49 UTC

I specifically bought it for live sets hahaha

2019-11-07 17:39:25 UTC

Whats ur live rig lookin like atm,

2019-11-07 17:40:08 UTC

@sky daddy the Sony Alpha a7 IIĀ  it's a full frame UHD 4K camera that is very adaptable when it comes to lenses because for cooking videos you would need a standard 50 mm and then a macro for close-up shots

2019-11-07 17:40:21 UTC

i posted it before

2019-11-07 17:40:27 UTC

its a bunch of synthesizers n shit
