It depends tbh
There are definitely cheap pencil sets out there
Mine costed like $10 however but they're amazing <:ohGosh:300898497161592832>
Man I used to buy engineering sets of 10 pencils of different hardness for 1-1.5 usd
Engineers write weird
you could have gotten exactly the same a few times cheaper
Well there is a difference in engineering pencils and sketching pencils
The letters are wider instead of longer
Idk why
wood and graphite
the only difference is marketing
I suppose if I can track down what stores in Canada sell engineering pencils I'll see about obtaining some.
4b is such a babe
I mean you probably have something like a 2H?
Nd 2b hehehehe
I think it is 2h the normal school pencils
they're sturdy but they're made for sharp and high contrast letters
Tbh I'd rather draw with mechanical pencils than school pencils
something like a B or 2/3B with minimal pressure would do wonders for shading
you can also get different graphite grades for mechanical pensilc, but shading will be a bitch

In most cases I had just been using a regular pencil to outline what I was going to finish shading on the computer. But, I've had limited time the past few days, and have just been shading my stuff on paper.
just buy a fucking screen tablet and use photosop or sai
I have a wacom 😛
Lmao
roll it up and shove it up your dog
Lmfao
Holy shit its 2 am
sorry, I have tourettes
Bai nigguh
goodbye bro
I end up using paper to outline what I'm going to draw, because wacom accuracy is a pain. Then I scan it in and shade/colour it.
> not using vector software for your lineart
why even bother, man
The lineart dissapears entirely in my end results.
So scanned in pencil/paper paper works fine.
why not use what real pro's use?
And whats that?
