My primary goal is just to draw what I want to draw. Which isn't men. I'd rather draw still life than men, and thats just how it is.

I'll get to drawing anime style one day. Once I'm able to draw still life and females to a decent degree of realism.

I was told the contrary by many artists, and so I stopped trying to draw anime as an entry point.

I wont deny it. I've always picked female over male ever since I could remember. Wont even play male characters in an MMO.

I know I'd dread every moment drawing a male at all, and be dissatisfied with the work regardless of how bad or good it is.

but in all seriousness, if you really want to be a good realist, you're gonna have to draw both men and women. But since you refuse to draw men, you're going to stay mediocre so I suggest you just draw anime. I mean it's definitely possible to become a good anime artist by just drawing a lot of anime.
