Need to work on hands and feet
What exactly?
The one above the latest one, the fingers look a bit fused. You can keep almost the same style and polish up the anatomy to make it look more finished. You might also look into graphic design/typography to find better ways to insert text into an image. You can keep it both professional and playful once you can get the basics down. In any case, it's best to know the rules before you break them. Makes everything look a bit more intentional.
Thank you
@Farunel You know a fair bit. Did you take courses in arts?
@Farunel And np about a pic of dog.
This is a mandala I gave to my mother.
Another one.
and one more for the heck of it
Ye I'm a graphic design major. Shoulda gone into a stem field but fuck it
Cool. I went through advertising arts and animation. Animation was much more satisfying but I didn't quite get my last project right. It was 1/6ths of a second out between the sound and animation.
You have to do what you feel is best for you. Stem field sounds interesting.
@Farunel Do you have a site where your art is? I would love to see more. You seem to be a WOW fan too.
I don't really post much tbh, I only have a couple things on my deviantart. And I am probably going to delete it soon. Username is Zonore though if you want to peek. *Shrug*
I pretty much only post stuff about games on there anyway. Don't really care for the community.
With the community it all depends on who you find but for the most part people are very disturbed with how it has been coming along there. I can see where you are coming from. There are a lot of younger people or people who think they are better than everyone else.
In fact I pretty much only used it since my two friends were there, but both have since quit it as well :P
There is nothing on that id. Bummer.
I notice it's fairly cliquey as well. Most are part of bigger groups. I'll post though if I find a better website. Me and a friend are trying to find one to host our art. She wants to do animation :P
Oh good for her! Has she decided on a school? And yes, DA does tend to be cliquey. I run through those groups like a rhino on crack. Messes them up when I come 'a visiting 😄
Idk, I haven't asked. I know she wants to go into an art school though. She's in highschool right now, 4 years younger than myself. She does great, though.
Good for her and good for you encouraging her on. I'm looking for the groups some of my friends are on now. They found a couple of good art sites. I just have to remember them lol
Yeah, I just haven't found much to my liking quite yet. My stuff tends to change really quickly as far as digital goes. Started learning it 2 years ago. Got a tablet a bit over a year ago. I have no idea where I will be in another year
Everyone grows in their art, just like through life. I stick with DA because I have found friends there (in fact I found a person who later became a friend and is now my RL dm for D&D). Quite a few people left though. It's hard to find exactly what is good for you.
Yeah, I am not good at making friends. I'm not particularly outgoing. I kind of see deviantart as a bit extroverted in of itself. Even if it's just online. I like to keep to myself for the most part
Just a hero pic I did for a friend and myself. His character is Tip, the guy in green, and mine is Tchandra. They were looking for a good place to picnic.
I drew this weird dog thing for a woman at the hospital. She had been there for about a month and I was trying to cheer them all up in my mother's room. I ran out of room on the paper so the legs got short.
Chibi dog for another of the ladies.
Recreation of DragonAge character to Daz Studio figure.
@joji#6166 nicely done
@fate that is very pretty.
thank you!!
