I made this for my mother last year while she was in the hospital. I created the character for her a few years ago.

Cool. I went through advertising arts and animation. Animation was much more satisfying but I didn't quite get my last project right. It was 1/6ths of a second out between the sound and animation.

You have to do what you feel is best for you. Stem field sounds interesting.

@Farunel Do you have a site where your art is? I would love to see more. You seem to be a WOW fan too.

With the community it all depends on who you find but for the most part people are very disturbed with how it has been coming along there. I can see where you are coming from. There are a lot of younger people or people who think they are better than everyone else.

Everyone grows in their art, just like through life. I stick with DA because I have found friends there (in fact I found a person who later became a friend and is now my RL dm for D&D). Quite a few people left though. It's hard to find exactly what is good for you.

I drew this weird dog thing for a woman at the hospital. She had been there for about a month and I was trying to cheer them all up in my mother's room. I ran out of room on the paper so the legs got short.

@Farunel some of the lineart is thick; however, you do have some thinner lines so if you were going for having a combination of line strengths then you did a great job on it. making lineart not too thick can be difficult and take time to master. it all depends on the feel you wish to give your work. i do really like that one of the elven face though. it has a good style to it
