European elections also haven’t been moving to the right so much as radicalising. The far left often grows in step with the far right and the Italian election resulted in a coalition of the two

Look up election results and communist parties are growing in lock-step with nationalists which att, average at around 13% each in euro elections. Interesting, yes. Not a majority and not a right wing growth as much as a radicalisation
