Childs comes back, and him and Macreedy share a drink and just sit and wait for rescue

and the film closes

in the script, the drink Childs has was a bottle of Gasoline, which let Macreedy tell if he was an alien, and he had a flamethrower right behind him

Lol I feel like I would've been pissed if I saw that movie in 82 and then found that part out later on

Kinda reminds me of the necromorphs from Dead Space
